Manuel Antonio Beach is located outside of Manuel Antonio National Park. You can walk from Hotel San Bada to the beach, the distance is just a 2-minute walk. The beach area has plenty of activities around, there are many souvenirs vendors, beach chair and tent renting, surf lessons, parasailing, water sports, people offering cocktails and some restaurants. One of the local restaurants that we recommend is Restaurante Almendros located at Hotel Manuel Antonio National Park. Prices are very similar in all the products offered at the beach. During some periods of the day several areas of the beach can be bussy. We tried the famous Copo or Granizado which is an ice cone made with syrup, leche pinito and leche condesada full of sugar J The water at the beach is warm with small tides but locals told us it can be different depending of the time of the year. Walking in Manuel Antonio Beach was very nice because of the beautiful tropical scenery. After walking to Playa Playitas we rented beach chairs and stayed there until the sunset time but we didn’t have a great sunset because the weather was cloudly, but we have great sunsets photos from Hotel San Bada´s rooftop from another day.
