One of the main reasons that we stayed at Hotel San Bada was because they have the best location in Manuel Antonio, the resort is situated right next to Manuel Antonio National Park. If you want to get the tickets to Manuel Antonio National Park you need to buy it at the official website, you can visit this link to get the tickets. Manuel Antonio National Park was listed on Forbes Magazine among the worlds 12 most beautiful national parks We made a research of the park and this reserve has been constantly awarded many times every year because of its nature, wildlife and beaches.
Please remember Manuel Antonio National Park is closed on Tuesdays. The only way to access the park is to buy the tickets at the official website, if you are willing to visit the park during holidays finding a ticket is going to be hard. Getting the tickets at the official website is kinda slow because you neced to fill some information. We opted to ask the frontdesk staff to book us a guided tour. The tour price includes the entrance fee.
The tour starts at 8:00am with the guide coming to the hotel to pick you up and take you to the national park, the tour guide is a certified guide by the Costa Rica Tourism Board and nature specialist, he is equipped with a telescope and many information regarding the national park. We took the ‘sendero’ its the spanish name of trail. This sendero takes you to the beach. We spot a sloth on a tree, with the help of the telescope we took some photos. The park is very interesting because it combines wildlife with beautiful beaches and nature.
We recommend taking this tour for the first time visiting Manuel Antonio National Park.
